Fresh & Healthy Raw Tabouli Salad

Wait is over! Let’s start our summer with the fresh and healthy, most awaited recipe Tabouli Salad. Its Picnic time. This recipe is easy to present to any gathering or picnic, and takes barely any time to prepare. This refreshing salad is a great way to add green seeds and vegetables to our daily diet routine. This Tabouli Salad is a mid eastern dish made with grains, parsley, bulgur, onions, mint leaves, and other vegetables too.

This freshly prepared recipe contains important nutrients such as iron, phosphorus, amino acids vitamin A and C and has different ingredients that act as antioxidants, which helps to kill bacteria in the body. This way it helps indigestion. It’s a super healthy recipe which is loved worldwide for its high protein content.

  1. 1 cup Wheat Bulgur, Dry
  2. 2 cup Water, Boiled
  3. 1 Large Onion Finely Chopped
  4. 2 Tomato Finely Chopped
  5. Few Parsley Leaves, Chopped
  6. Few Mint Leaves, Chopped
  7. 1 tsp Chili Pepper
  8. 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  9. ½ tsp Black Pepper
  10. 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  11. Salt to taste

Recipe of Asian Tabouli Salad

  • Place bulgur in a large bowl and pour boiling water over it. Let it stir up till the water is absorbed.
  • Using this bowl combined onion, tomato, chili pepper, black pepper, parsley leaves, lemon juice, oil and salt in to bulgur. Mix them well.
  • Garnish with the rest of the parsley or mint leaves and serve.

The dish is on our top 20’s list of favorite foods. It is very nutritious and refreshing. Add some beans to the leftovers for a good variation.
